किस्मत की बात ..

दुबई से मैंगलोर आ रहा एक यात्री विमान 22 मई 2010 को मैंगलोर हवाई अड्डे पर उतरते समय दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गया था । मैं अखबार पढ़ रहा था । आगे के पृष्ठों में, एक जगह नजर पड़ी, लिखा था -
- वह भाग्यशाली थी कि उड़ान छूट गई ।
थेरेसियाम्मा फिलिप ( नाम, जैसा अखबार में लिखा था, वैसा का वैसा ही मैंने लिख दिया है) इसी विमान से जो कि दुर्घटना का शिकार हो गया था और जिसमें अनेक जानें चली गई थीं, से, अपने बेटी से मिलने के लिये मैंगलोर आने वाली थीं । वे इस विमान में बैठने से इसलिये वंचित रह गई थीं क्योंकि, उन्हें यह धोखा हो गया था कि फ्लाइट शाम की है, जबकि वह सुबह की थी । किसी समाचार चैनल को उन्होने बताया - इस तरह से मेरी उड़ान छूट गई और उड़ान छूटने की वजह से मैं पछता रही थी कि इसी बीच मेरी बेटी ने, फोन पर, मुझे विमान के गुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो जाने की सूचना दी ।
- काम के बोझ से बची जान ।
दुबई से, एक व्यक्ति कुन्हीकान्नन चांडू (51 वर्ष), अपने बेटे को इंजीनियरिंग कालेज में, प्रवेश दिलाने में मदद के लिये, मैंगलोर जाने वाले थे और शनिवार की सुबह ही दुबई से मैंगलोर का उन्होने टिकट लिया था । लेकिन उनके प्रबंधक ने आवश्यक कार्य आ जाने के कारण, उन्हें इस यात्रा को स्थगित करने का निर्देश दिया ।
ये समाचार पढ़कर मुझे विश्वरंजन पर लिखी, मेरी किताब, जाने कितने रंग, ( पृष्ठ 29 से 33 में, सफलता और असफलता, नामक लेख में ) विश्वरंजन द्वारा किसी विमान दुर्घटना से संबंधित सुनाये गये किसी किस्से का उद्धरण याद आ गया था । जिन्होने उस किताब को पढ़ा होगा वे विश्वरंजन द्वारा सुनाये उस किस्से से भी वाकिफ होंगे कि जिसमें ट्रेफिक जाम के कारण किसी की फ्लाइट छूट जाती है .. वह दुखित हो जाता है लेकिन, बाद में उस विमान के दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो जाने का समाचार सुनकर, भगवान को धन्यवाद देता है । आज विश्वरंजन से मिलने पर, मैंने उन्हें उस किताब की उक्त बात याद दिलायी । सुनकर, विश्वरंजन शांत थे । बस इतना कहा - किस्मत की बात है .. ।

मुझे बहुत दुख हुआ ..

मैंने हिंदी माध्यम में बारहवीं पास, किसी को देखा कि .. वह चाण्डक, पाटिल या फिर पूजा जैसे हिन्दी के शब्दों को लिखने में असमर्थ है । शिक्षा के इस स्तर को देखकर, मैं हतप्रभ था । मुझे आश्चर्य भी हुआ और दुख भी बहुत ।

The story is that once a couple was travelling in a bus in a mountainous area .. at a place they decided and got down .. the bus then moved on .. after a few minutes a huge rock fell on the bus from the mountain .. and resulted in crushing and killing everyone in the bus .. The couple after knowing the accident, said - we wish we were on that bus .. further they added that If they had remained on the bus instead of deciding to get down .. the resulting time delay .. could have been avoided and the rock would have fallen after the bus had passed .. !!
Moral of the story - always think positive in life and look for the opportunities where you can help others ..
